Kindergarten Reading Help

I have a crush on this girl in my class. My best friend likes her to. He has liked her since kindergarten and i have liked her since the school year has started. She likes my friend a lot and kind of likes me. But if end up having a relationship with her Idon’tt think my friend would be happy.

my 6 year old is required to read for 15 minutes every evening, write spelling words (they have a spelling test every friday – with 20 words), do daily writing, and read a 3 page list of sight words. It takes about 1 and a half hours for her to complete.
Her class does not have nap time…. they have recess 2 times a week…. they have coloring & singing activities by rotation, only 1 time a week for each.
She comes home every evening worn out & starving. I pack her a snack to eat every day, and some days she tells me she didn’t have time to eat it.
It seems rather harsh to me, I was wondering if it is normal?

He’s not in kindergarten yet so there’s no big rush but he’s reading and writing sentences so I figured he should write them correctly- they are often backwards or capital. Should I push it?

as in, the things they should learn by year?
like: kindergarten–abc’s, reading, writing, time, adding and subtracting…etc???

I would greatly appriciate it if you guys could help me out. i only have these last questions left…..thanks

For Kindergarten we bought her teacher a personalized tote bag and inside had a (#1 Teacher) Maggie Moo cow that she collects tucked inside. My daughter picked it all out on her own. This year, she wants to do something different for her 1st grade teacher. She absolutely LOVES her and wants to give her something that is very special. Her teacher is very young, but I do know that she loves OSU football. We thought of giving her something along those lines…but we do want to give her something she can really appreciate. This is her 2nd yr of teaching, and already has TONS of stationery, etc. If anyone has any ideas….please help! Thanks for reading…:)

I have pulled my 7 year old out of public school, after two years of Kindergarten, she can not blend sounds and they were going to push her into first.
I need some great learning to read sites and tips if ya’ll have any. I posted another question earlier that was left for some debate….she is young, but she is heavily showing the signs of dyslexia.

why are people in hollywood so F’in stupid? why do they always glorify communism(Castro) while ignoring the contuing “shining path” of mass murder commies leave behind and see in front of them?

my daughter is in kindergarten and is a beginner reader, what are some good suggestions on books for her age, the library only caries 10 and we have read them all

In “Your Baby Can Read”, they had 8-month-olds reading full sentences, and a 2-year-old girl reading Charlotte’s Web.
Is this a good thing, or should we just let kids be kids and wait for kindergarten?
