I dont thinks she super advanced or anything. Its just she has a strong interest in learning and reading and already knows what all the preschools seem to be teaching. Shes doing phonics and most preschools teaching letters and colors and she has know them since 2. We tried a preschool last year but she was bored stiff and the teachers didnt do anything about it even when I addressed it to them – we ended up pulling her cause it was more like daycare. Which I understand for most preschool is jsut about getting use to things – socially and school setting etc but would if your kid wants more? Id love to put her in Kindergarten but obviously your not allowed to put a 4 yrold in Kindergarten (shell be 4 in June before the school year.) Ive looked at public, charter, private and montessori. Montessori seems the best option but the only ones are out of my district and they do a lottery every year if your out of district so she may go 1 year and not the next I dont want that either.???

My 5yr old daughter is having problems in kindergarten. Namely writing exercises. Her teacher says that she works slower than most kids, she scribbles a lot and it takes her a long time to do the work. Her work is sloppy and contains lots of erasure marks. I have seen some of the other kids work, but hers is not nearly as good. Her teacher says she is reading and she feels this is stopping her from moving forward. She knows a lot but she can’t get it to translate on paper. . Her teacher and I feel that she can do the work but this is a hurdle. She wants to hold her back in kindergarten -any suggestions? How can I get her to work faster and neater and do it in class?

jason: a really good friend. i just got over being super mad at him 4 god knows why. dark brown shaggy hair overwaight…hes stephanie’s age though(11) so its a little awkward (im 13) just a little though.
pro: known him since he was in kindergarten
con: me and my friend made a fake youtube guy account not to post vids just to maybe see who he likes and stuff and we were talking about me and maddie and he told the “guy” that hes kissed me when he never ever ever has
tommy: short brown hair blue eyes nice bod. ive known him since we were both in kindergarten. he has a superr nice family and is really funny even when we r making fun of eachother. we have 3 of the same classes which 2 of he chooses to sit next 2 me and we hav poking wars (im not as childish as that probably just led me to be)
pros: really hott and funny and sweet but bad boyish sometimes and really nice
cons: makes fun of me and ben(explained later) and maddie’s(my bff!) ex bf.
ben: hott guy pretty short amazing hair and hot body. always makes fun of me and i seriosly doubt he likes me:( he was new to our school last year (7th grade were going into 8th now) hes skinny and i wasnt in 6th or anything b4 that but now everyone makes fun of me for it and tommy decided 2 say that i went skinny FOR ben when really i went skinny because i became more in to health and reading the sides of boxes and im now a vegitarian *however u spell it* soooo… yea
pros: great hair his moms a hair stylist and funny
cons: mean
srry i 4got i was trying 2 make it quick but i didnt want 2 leave anything

Ok, so I have been friends with this guy since i was in kindergarten (im in 10th grade now). I have always had a crush on him <3 . He isn't the best looking guy but he has the most perfect blue eyes and he has a great personality. I don't care much for looks I look for personality. <3 anyways,,..my friends know that I like him and they were dropping hints to him (we are all mutual friends). soooo he started asking me who I like….he was persistent and stuff but I held my ground. eventually it got outa hand and I started getting annoyed so I just told him on IM. he kept asking me if i was free to hang out. I was worried cause he knew I liked him and it may be awkward sooo yea. eventually i hung out with him. it was normal surprisingly. then we hung out with a group of our friends. and after he left to go home, they told me that we were seriously flirting. –a few weeks later– at lunch he took my book bag to be annoying so i went to smack im with my folder and he grabbed the end and pushed me into the wall and tried to get it from me. this guy who sits with us was like "could you guys please stop flirting" he let go and sat back down.
i love him soooooooo much and he knows but dosent seem to care…
this "flirting" is it love or friendship? i dont actually know how to flirt….i just do i guess. he also tends to ignore our other friends when we are all hanging out and leans toward me……??
Do you think he <3 loves <3 me??
What are some signs that a guy loves/likes you??

I have received an email from YJ’s PE teacher and I am really surprised.
YJ hasn’t brought her PE strip to her PE9 class 5 times so far.
I am sorry that I feel disappointed with my niece today.
Yet, my love for her won’t change.
She has made up one Friday session (Dec 11) since I talked to her.
She still has to make up 4 classes.
I will remind her of seeing you on Jan 15 and Jan 25 for her make-up PE classes.
YJ has to see Mr. Pxxx as you see his message below.
I hope that someone or you can come with her when seeing Mr. Pxx to help her communicate with him.
I’d appreciate if you could find someone for YJ.
Oh, I told YJ this morning that she has to see you today after school.

YJ leaves her school agenda in her room for months, and I think this is not a good idea for a student like my niece.
I’ve advised her many times to bring it with her when she goes to school, but she leaves it home.
I don’t like to nag her, so I always talk to her nicely.
She seems to highly respect me; however, she sometimes forgets doing things that she has to do at home and the school, which I can’t help her.
I wish I were her mother, so I can lead her to have better and more effective life.

I have been so much passionate about education entire my life since very young age.
I think it is not everything of studying hard in our life.
People often open their eyes to studying at different age.
However I believe that taking our responsibility is very important.
YJ is a lovely and good girl, but I hope that she takes her responsibility seriously as a student.
I never say study to her; if I do that, I probably go crazy.
I love her very much as my niece, which, I think, is the only thing that I can give her during her stay in Canada.
On the other hand, YJ has many good characters.
I have learned such good things from her.
She is very good at reading people’s mind and treating very young children.
She has thought me how to treat kids well.
She loves little children.
I think she will be an excellent kindergarten teacher in the future in Korea if she studies the field.
I gave her a chance to volunteer at a kindergarten near my home.
Christmas is in the corner.

My “step-son” is 5 and he starts kindergarten this fall. He was in pre-school three days a week last year and hated it! We think a lot if it stemmed from his mom dropping him off and the his dad picking him up… so we started going by whoever dropped him off picked him up. Everyday he had school he would say he didn’t want to go, he hated it… stuff like that. Now he is going into kindergarten and here they have it all day. I am worred that he is going start off on the wrong foot. My BF and I are already concerned becasue he is going to be bored. He is already reading books by himself and can do simple math- pretty advanced for his age and we have been told the achool he is going to isn’t very good with advacned kids- something about the “No Child Left Behind.” Any advice for us as parents to hype him up for school and change his attitude towards it and how to survive this upcoming school year?

Multimedia Artist/ Animator or a Creative Writer/ Poet?
Why Multimedia Artist/ Animator?
*I am really great at editing videos.
*I can draw a LOT of cartoon characters like spongebob and the fairly odd parents through hand and using the computer.
*I have been a straight A student in art since kindergarten.
*Nearly all my artworks at school were displayed at the office.
*My art teacher displayed my “African Mask” artwork at this mini art museum for kids.
Why Creative author/ poet?
*I LOVE reading books.
*I once won an award given to me by the county’s school superintendent by achieving a high score in a writing test against all other people in my grade at my school.
*I have been a straight A student in this subject since kindergarten.

*When I went to this place called Enterprise Village when I was in 5th grade (Enterprise Village is where you can work like a grown up does) my teacher selected me to be a Managing Editor at the newspaper company.
Which career is better?
