I also have taken many tests that say I’m more right brained (more common for left handers). I also remember being in kindergarten and having to use the scissors other ppl didn’t wanna use.
Could I have been left handed, but trained to use my right hand in school?
If you need more details just ask.

Well, I see you’re familiar with the ideas of ‘left-brained’ or ‘right-brained’. Delving into these topics in relation to yourself are ways to better understand yourself, so I’d say your efforts will be useful for you. While I agree there are such left or right brain preferences, there are no hard or fast rules that one should be majorly either one or the other. The human brain is complex wiring of neurons with a corpus callosum, the mid-connector between right and left brain networks. That intermediary part really helps you to come to a deeper and more holistic understanding about yourself.
If you feel comfortable with writing with your right hand, you are a natural born right handed person. If you feel that you have good control over your left hand with fine motor skills such as writing, I would perhaps then either think you were trained to be right-handed or…you’re one of the few ambidextrous persons out there. Usually nearly all ambidextrous persons did not have impeccable penmanships. They struggled with both hands, in other words.
When you bat, you are using gross or general motor skills. It shouldn’t be affected by handedness, but perhaps eye dominance, is what I am thinking. I have right eye dominance and I know this realizing off-centered vision while reading since younger days.
Handedness, for some reasons, seems to matter a lot when you’re younger…but it is the least of any adult’s concerns. It’s just the way that one goes… Fascination with handedness reflects your desire to know all the secrets about one’s natural potential, natural skills, etc… I do think these are definite developmental markers and definitely normal. Great you asked!
