PostHeaderIcon Is It Normal To Read This Much?

heya, im 12, a girl, and i go to a public school. im just wondering if u think this is strange or not, but i can read around 2 200 paged books a day, and acouple 400 paged ones a week. i was readinng harry potter in kindergarten. i spend so much money on books that i either buy in second hhand shops, reread my good books, and my dad has started giving me his old books that he read in his 16+ years. im reading at a 11th grade/college level, but find those books harder to get into, so i read smaller books, but more often. i was also wondering for any good book requests. xxx thnx

    Wow! That’s awesome!
When you get to high school, your reading could place you in AP courses and Honor courses.. which will result in a GREAT college resume.
Plus, if you DO get into those honorable classes, I hear that they assign a ton of reading and book reports. Easy for you, though since you can read super fast!
Don’t worry, this is a great thing and will do you much good! :D

It’s GOOD to read that much. To me I think you have problems only because I think reading is a sin that will lead to World War 5 (a war so grand it skips the other 2). But I must say I’m glad to know that there are still people out there like you who read and don’t prove that our world is a bomb about to blow up.

Reading’s good for you, it stimulates your brain more other activities (watching TV, going on the computer) and it excercises your imagination. So keep on readin’!

It okay to read a lot. It makes you smarter. And most books you’re reading right now you’ll probably read in middle and high school. If I get a good book, I can’t stop reading. But take a break every once in a while

Most girls your age are watching tv, not reading.

I think it’s a good thing since most people just stare at the TV/computer all day.
    Kudos!
However, make sure you take a break and rest your eyes once in a while.
